The 12-mile long North Augusta Greeneway (named after former Mayor Thomas Greene) is primarily on the abandoned Georgia & Florida Railroad line with scenic side trails to the Savannah River.

Four Freedoms Trail

Much of the Four Freedoms Trail in northern Florida lies on the former Georgia & Florida Railroad right-of-way. The 12.3 mile paved trail travels north from the town of Madison to the Withlacoochee River at the Georgia-Florida border and is mostly rural in nature.
